Injunctions are three kinds
1- Temporary
2- Permanent
3- Mandatory
Stay is the common word, means to stop in something.
Hence stay refers for temporary or permanent injunctions based on the words used in stay order.
Injunction is wider term
Stay is narrower.

Difference between return of plaint and return of appeal

An order return of plaint is appealable.
Order of return of memo of appeal is non appealable, revision lies that is the main difference.

Difference between summons and notice

Summons is sent in suit to call the defendant.
Notices are sent in the application.

Difference between next friend and guardian ad-litem

Next friend is for the plaintiff.
Guardian ad-litem for defendant.
Next friend appoints himself on behalf of minor.
Guardian ad-litem is appointed by the court.

Difference between rules 2 and 3 of O.17

17(2) Absence of party on the date of hearing.
17(3) Failures to act or to produce evidence, court dismisses the suit in default.

Difference between interlocutory injunction and Ad-interim injunction

Interlocutory injunction which last until the end of trial during which the injunction was sought?
Ad-interim injunction some thing as per law dictionaries, these injunctions are referred as temporary injunctions or temporary restraining orders.

Difference between attachment before and after judgment

Attachment before judgment is ordered by court u/o 38 Rule 5 to prevent the defendant not to dispose of his property to void the execution of decree.
Attachment after judgment is made by court u/o 21 CPC for satisfaction of decree.

Difference between Transfer of property act and sale of goods act

The Transfer of property act deals with specific immovable property.
The sales of goods act deals with specific movable property of goods.
